I love this picture for three reasons.

1. It’s of my good friend Melissa Hartwig @melissa_hartwig of WHOLE30 leading a meditation.

2. Simplicity: You don’t have to be a Buddhist Monk to mediate. It is simply calming the mind, even if it’s just for a few seconds.

3. Leadership: Melissa is sharing a tool that has helped her. If you like it cool. If not, that’s cool too. If it’s for you, then it’s time to lead a friend. After your workout play this 5 minute meditation. What’s the worst that can happen? People look at you weird in the gym? Your friend gets to relax for a few minutes? Not a bad trade off for pure bliss.
