11 Nov Sauna Stretch Session – Heat Up to Cool Down

The other day I was up visiting a friend in Malibu. We wanted to get in a sweat before we fired up the grill, but it was a recovery day for training. His building complex happened to have a sauna so we thought up this simple routine on the fly and man was it amazing!

Two rounds of the following:

  • Stretching in sauna – 15-20 minutes
  • Handstands – 3 reps x 1 minute (outside)


Stretching in the sauna will get your blood circulating, invigorate your body, and help you recover that much faster!
