20 Oct Can You Ask Yourself These Tough Questions?
“I used to be afraid of failing at something that really mattered to me, but now I’m more afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter.”
This quote from Bob Goff hit me like a ton of bricks. It made me immediately do a mental inventory of my goals. I asked myself, “Am I pursuing the things that really matter to me, whether or not I might fail?” This week, I want you to answer for yourself – are you pouring your efforts into what really matters?
For most people, work is the most important aspect of their life and the source of many of their goals. That’s fine with me. I am not saying your work has to be ending world hunger, but HOW you do your work matters. Whatever your job may be, besides kicking ass on a professional level, are you uplifting those who work with you? Do you care about them as people? How about their families? Remember, work will come and go – it’s the people in your life who make the difference. May you live and breathe this type of connection this week. #MINDRIGHT
