14 Feb Better for you Ice Cream
Craving the sweet, cold, smooth sensation of ice cream but knowing you shouldn’t indulge? We’ve all been there. Next time, before hitting up Ben and Jerry’s, take a look at the kitchen table. Old Bananas, just starting to turn brown, can be thrown in the freezer and made into the perfect “ice cream” treat. Simply peel and slice up the bananas and throw them in the freezer. Wait at least an hour and half before blending them up with a splash of milk or milk substitute. Using almond milk in the recipe also allows for a dairy free indulgence.
2 very ripe bananas
1 tablespoon natural of milk/milk substitute
